Stuff and Stories: June 2012

What is this?

This blog is *very* miscellaneous family history as I know it, using my sifting through "the stuff" to provide talking points.

There will be no chronology... just stuff as I find it or as it occurs to me.

I'll try to use tags in a way that might allow the lack of other organization to be less crazy-making.

Part of the point here is to answer the question, "Why did anyone keep this?" and to tell some of the little stories that add texture to history.

The main idea is not to clarify genealogy or to document heirlooms, though some of that might happen incidentally.
